Faculty, Staff and Students

The Executive Committee for the Stanford-South Africa Biomedical Informatics (SSABMI) Program sets the program direction, determines the curriculum, selects program candidates and activities to support.

Participating and Research Faculty are drawn from University of the Western Cape, Bellville, University of Cape Town, and the South African National Institute for Communicable Diseases (NICD) and Stanford University in the United States.

SSABMI Trainees are MS and PhD candidates in Biomedical Informatics enrolled at the University of the Western Cape or the University of Cape Town.

Stanford students are graduate students with interest in HIV informatics. Please see the individual web pages for project descriptions.

Support Staff provide the technologies and services that keep everyone else listed on this page happy and productive. We would like to acknowledge their hard work and dedication.
